Can somebody give me an idea how we can insert our own custom menu into the dolphin6 template? It is okay without using the admin panel to update the menu since we are thinking to update it manually without using the admin panel.

You can add menu from admin panel -> builders -> navigation menu builder.

I mean I want to customize it to drop down menu and insert the menu manually. Which file should I edit? Please advise.

You need to edit the file BxDolMenu.php

Also, you have to write the needed javascripts and include it correctly.
