Please help with video upload,

Postby MrWolfman » Tue Oct 20, 2009 3:03 pm

ok i have change my php.ini file so i can upload large file sizes the only thing i cannot do is get the video upload to work

it does actuall upload the video but it looses the extension so for example 28.flv is actually just 28

when trying to play the file i get file not found error

if i rename the fil 28.flv it does nothing ( well is shows the file and the file preview but when i press play nothing lol)

can anyone help with this at all please

It seems your PHP.INI settings doesn't allow complete execution of ffmpeg. Increase script execution time or install ffmpeg separately.

For LINUX:

Login as root into your.
Find your PHP.INI config file.
Edit it with vi or some editor.
Increase the execution time.

Only if you have root login, you can do that.

If you are in shared hosting, ask your host to do that. Some hosts allow you to change it locally.

It seems your server doesn't allow the execution of ffmpeg to completion. You may have to install ffmpeg on server and use that.
